Infomation for LPA Accredited Producers

The Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) Standards indicate that the use of agricultural and veterinary chemicals should be performed by trained and competent staff.In addition, in some states it is compulsory under legislation for many users of chemicals to hold Chemical User Accreditation.

It has been bought to the attention of LPA administration that free chemical user accreditation and refresher training is available in several local government areas in Northern NSW. These include Tamworth, Walcha, Uralla, Armidale, Guyra, Gunnedah, Narrabri, Moree Plains and Walgett local government areas (LGAs).

This free training is been made available through Centacare New England North West, with funding provided as Drought Assistance by the Australian and NSW governments and is available to any individual residing in these LGA's.

Places are limited and the subsidised training opportunity will cease 30 June 2016.
