AUS-MEAT is approved by a number of North American and European organisations to conduct audits on their behalf; many of these have approved the AUS-MEAT audit template and allow their audits to be conducted simultaneously by AUS-MEAT with other customer audits to the same audit standard. This provides savings to our clients in terms of both audit duration and cost.

Should you have any customer or company audit requirements, AUS-MEAT will on your behalf attempt to facilitate approval with your customer to allow their audits to be conducted by AUS-MEAT to the same audit standard simultaneously with other customer audits.

AUS-MEAT provides industry and customized company training to the New Zealand Industry such as its Beef and Sheep Specification courses, both registered under the NZITO.

There's a popular misconception that these courses teach the participants the AUS-MEAT Specifications, they do not, the courses teach the participant how to develop, interpret and verify production against unambiguous company's specifications using internationally recognized anatomical descriptions.

The advantage that this provides is a clear understanding throughout the complete supply chain from your customer, through marketing, right down to the people within the production departments.
