As an Australian owned not-for-profit business, AUS-QUAL has grown to be a leading provider of auditing, certification and training services, with a core focus on servicing primary producers across a broad range of programs. Our business operates under internationally recognised Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015), Environmental Management Systems (ISO14001:2015), and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001:2018). Alongside other Freshcare approved certification bodies, AUS-QUAL is also accredited by JASANZ. Our business has been a long-term supporter of the Australian horticultural industry, having been involved with Freshcare since its inception.

The Harmonised Australian Retailer Produce Scheme allows direct suppliers to Australian food retailers to use a single recognised global food safety standard. This eliminates the need for multiple audits for different customers. HARPS was established in 2016. Edition 2 was released in 2022.
